Your path to a successful landscape career.

Come grow with us.

Dig Right In Landscaping is always seeking energetic, creative people to grow with us.  We provide a friendly work environment, and we value and provide incentives to employees who demonstrate outstanding customer service, innovation, responsibility, and ongoing learning.

Sustainable Landscape Designer

Dig Right In Landscaping, Inc. was founded on the principles of ecosystem restoration.  As a result, we were the first “sustainable” landscaping company in the area.  We are currently seeking an energetic and artistic designer to help us restore the earth one yard at a time.

At your core, you have a passion for improving the natural environment.  Beyond that, you find it easy to build professional relationships and you really thrive on applying your creativity to translate a customer’s desires into beautiful, functional, healthy and sustainable outdoor living spaces.  Most importantly, you are eager to see that collaborated vision come to life by actively managing your very own competent and efficient installation crew.

We require creative (custom, not cookie-cutter), highly motivated (can work independently) and career-oriented (wants to learn and grow) individuals who are looking to provide an outstanding customer experience from sales, to design, estimating, contract negotiation, and project management in a small boutique environment.  Don’t worry—we will train you to fulfill our distinct standards and procedures.

Designers must demonstrate applicable talent, experience or education such as an accredited landscape design program, certificate or equivalent.  Knowledge of sustainable landscaping concepts, earth sciences, and confident sales skills a plus.  Compensation based upon prior experience and skill level as demonstrated by portfolio and interviews.

Yard Drainage Consultant

Dig Right In Landscaping, Inc., was founded on caring for our water resources and is well known for providing a variety of yard drainage solutions for residential customers.  Have you seen how much it’s been raining?  Well, now we are seeking a motivated individual with little to no experience who is eager to learn from the best in the business.

Ideal candidate has a basic understanding of earth sciences, water dynamics in the landscape, and the challenges associated with small lots, clayey soil and climate change. Tends to “geek-out” to hydrogeology and know a thing or two about rain gardens, infiltration systems, piping, stormwater management, green infrastructure, and sustainable landscaping techniques.

Must demonstrate an eager interest in or knowledge of customer relationship building; contract writing, estimating, and negotiating; landscape design; project management; and a willingness to learn.  Don’t worry—we will train you on a wide variety of company processes.

Knowledge of sustainable landscaping concepts, earth sciences, and confident sales skills a plus.  Compensation based upon prior experience and skill level as demonstrated by portfolio and/or our four-level interview process.

Landscape Construction Technician

Candidate ideally has a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing installation crews.  More importantly, you take pride in providing your customers with meticulous workmanship that will guarantee years of solid structures and natural beauty to their property.  In particular, you want to be part of a team and grow in your career.

You must possess knowledge of or interest in sustainable installation practices, including proper hardscape construction (walks and patios, retaining walls, ponds) and softscape enhancement (site preparation and plantings).   We will train to a variety of company standards and procedures.

Valid driver’s license, Spanish speaking and skid steer operating skills are a plus.  This is a great opportunity to work for an honest and reliable firm that will provide career advancement, skills and safety training.  Hourly compensation is commensurate with experience.

Landscape Construction Foremen

Candidate has a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing installation crews.  In particular, you take pride in providing each customer with meticulous workmanship that will guarantee years of solid structures and natural beauty to your client’s property.

You must possess knowledge of sustainable installation practices, including proper hardscape construction (walks and patios, retaining walls, ponds) and softscape enhancement (site preparation and plantings).   You also must demonstrate leadership skills, customer service abilities, and training experience.  We will train to a variety of company standards so you must be flexible in the way you conduct construction processes.

A valid driver’s license, bilingual skills and ability to interact with customers and conduct business in line with company goals are required.  This is a great opportunity to work for an honest and reliable firm that will provide career advancement, skills and safety training.  Hourly compensation is commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills.

We hire without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, creed, age, color or national origin.
