Thursday, October 27 - Dig Right In's Jeff Swano will be among presenters at The Morton Arboretum's "Sustainable Landscapes for a Greener Future" sponsored by the Ornamental Growers Association. Jeff will be discussing how woody ornamental plants fit in to the natural landscape.
Monday, October 3 - Dig Right In attended the Village of Riverside Board Meeting to hear the results of the Engineering Drainage Study. Six key areas of the village that experienced excessive flooding in the back yards were studied for solutions. One case study was hi-lighted due to our natural (and successful) solution for one grateful homeowner. Please call to discuss your own experience and see how Dig Right In can help.
Saturday, April 9 - Freyja Conrad will be teaming up with Brittanies Thyme at the District 181 Foundation "Believe in Green" Event held at Clarendon Hills Middle School 10am-3pm. This is a great annual event for families featuring vegetable gardening for kids with Master Gardeners and an electronics recycle drop off station.
Wednesday, April 6 - Jeff Swano will discuss organic lawn care. You've never had so much fun in a gardening class (unless you've been to one of Jeff's classes before). Jeff will bring his extensive knowledge on organic lawn care and offer DIY advice that garden novices and veterans alike can use. $5 class fee can be applied toward any in-store purchases that evening. To be held at Green Home Experts in Oak Park at 6:30pm.
Monday, March 21 - The Well Spiritual Center in connection with the Sisters of St. Joseph is hosting Jeff Swano on an important discussion about our most precious resource - Water! "From Rain to Drain and Back Again" will be held at 7pm. 1515 W Ogden Avenue, La Grange Park.
